No longer are iron on patches just for your knees and elbows! I happen to have 3 boys with pens and paint (and dirt) in their hands at all times...One of them happen to make a not so attractive brown pen stain smack in the center of one of my dinning room chairs...not so pleasant for our next dinner guest...So i decided, both in the nature of being "green", financially fiscal and really just not in the mood to send off another chair to be reupholstered for $300, that I would instead iron on a quirky patch that i found on eBay. So voila with a little humor and an iron I created an interesting alternative...This is a great option for kids room too. This can also be done quite elegantly with some finer embroideries, monogrammed letters etc...there are a ton of things under "vintage patch" on eBay that can actually turn a simple piece of furniture into something quite original. There are a few below that i found on eBay (including the one i used on my chair). pink patch These could be used on the 4 corners of a chair or as a boarder around the bottom... green patch gold patch Read the full story on the original site noreply@blogger.com (Lulu) Add a comment Report inappropriate content
